Watercolor by Kristal Serna

Hi there! I’m a Michigan-based watercolor painter who's inspired by nature. I sell prints and cards featuring my paintings. My customers especially like the bold, cheery colors I use. I grew up in California’s Napa Valley. I spent much of my childhood outdoors camping in Yosemite, swimming in the Pacific Ocean, and exploring nature. For the past decade I've lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to becoming a professional artist, I worked as a lawyer and in other executive positions in the business world. My formal education includes a BA in Native American studies from UC Davis, a law degree from University of Michigan, and a BA in fine arts from Eastern Michigan University.
